Our sources of glass fibre are sourced from a multitude of suppliers.  In regard to Rovings and Chopped Strand Mat, we utilise products from both JUSHI and Taishan.

JUSHI And Taishan (CTG)  are recognised as two of the largest glass fibre producers in the world.  They offer quality products to a range of industrial processes.  

There has in recent years been a movement towards no Borine or Flourine based glass fibre for improved properties.

Taishan

The input TCR rovings are boron-free and fluoride-free glass fiber. They provide higher mechanical properties (modulus of elasticity) than E glass, superior chemical corrosion resistance, especially very similar acid resistance with traditional ECR glass.

Jushi

Again their inputs for E6 are Boron & Flourine free, producing glass fibre with higher mechanical properties and increased corrosion resistance than traditional E-glass fibre.

Description E glass or TCR glass Chopped Strand Mat is made of chopped fiber in specified length randomly & evenly distributed on conveyor, bonded by emulsion binder and cut into certain widths & lengths after heat forming. E glass or TCR glass Chopped Strand Mat is made of chopped fiber in specified length randomly & evenly distributed on conveyor, bonded by emulsion binder and cut into certain widths & lengths after heat forming. Jushi Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat is made of randomly distributed chopped E-glass strands held together by an emulsion binder. It is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic resins. P02 Powder Chopped Strand Mat is made of randomly distributed chopped E6 glass strands held together by an powder binder. P02 is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy and phenolic resins.

Application It is applicable for hand lay-up, filament winding, compression molding, machine molding process, etc.. Compatible with Unsaturated Polyester (UP)& Vinyl Ester resin systems. It is typically used to produce translucent panels, boat hulls, automobile interior parts, etc.. Applications include Marine,Sanitary, automotive, playground equipment, construction and building components, etc.. P02 is designed for use in hand lay-up, filament winding, compression molding and continuous laminating processes. Its end-use applications include boats, bath equipment, automotive parts, chemical corrosion resistant pipes, tanks, cooling towers and building components. It demonstrates: *High tensile strength, allowing for use in hand lay-up process to produce large parts. *Good wet-through and fast wet-out in resins, rapid air lease. *High mechanical strength of parts. *Superior acid corrosion resistance.
Packaging CSM E.B is packed in thermoplastic or PE bags by rolls, separately put into cartons and stacked on the pallet. Each pallet stacks 12 rolls vertically or 9 or 6 rolls horizontally. All pallets should not be stacked in more than 2 layers and cartons not more than 5 layers. TCR-glass powder mat is packed in PE bags and into cartons, stacked on pallets or separately in cartons. Pallets should not be stacked over 2 layers and cartons not over 5 layers. Each Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat is wound onto a paper tube which has an inside diameter o f90mm. The roll outside diameter is approximately 265mm. Each roll is wrapped up in plastic film and then packed in a cardboard box.The rolls are stacked horizontally or vertically on to pallets.All pallets are stretch wrapped and strapped to maintain stability during transport. Each Powder Chopped Strand Mat is wound onto a paper tube which has an inside diameter of 90mm. The roll outside diameter is approximately 265mm. Each roll is wrapped up in plastic film and then packed in a cardboard box. The rolls are stacked horizontally or vertically onto pallets. All pallets are stretch wrapped and strapped to maintain stability during transport.
Storage This product should be stored in a dry, ventilated and rainproof place, with temperatures 5-35℃and humidity 35-65%.It is recommended to be consumed within 6 months after material delivery and shall be kept in intact package when not used to avoid damp.
